Secret Santa

There are a lot of interns here in Santo Domingo, and some of them random- like me, and we are enjoying each others company. Someone came up with the idea of Secret Santa, and we all joined in! One day I got an email with the name of my secret friend, and I went shopping for a gift, which could cost no more than 200 pesos (33 kr). I had to pick out a gift for wonderful Paula, who loves colours and accesories. I ended up buying a hand lotion, shaped and smelling like an apple. It turned out to be jackpot, and I was so happy!

We all met at our place on Wednesday December 1st, brought something eatable/ drinkable, and made a party out of it.

A part of our new family over here. We are definitely missing some people on this picture though. Not to be depressing, but Pavol has left now (he will be back in January), Sylvia and Gerardo are leaving before Christams, and the rest are leaving within the next 3 months. Hopefully there will arrive some new great interns!

After handing out the presents, we decided to play charades. We all wrote down names of famous movies, put them in a green bag, and split into three teams. One picked a note, had to mime, and his/her team had to guess.
