Farewell and adieu Pavol, at Beer House

The Man himself, together with Laura. Pavol is about to return to Slovakia, but he might come back here in January! He has been here in the Dominican for more than a year, on an internship through AIESEC.

When in the Beer House, do as the bear (??)... Corona con lime. Robert and I with Sasha. The spinach dip was amazing. 

 

Yeimy showing us how they drink Corona in Colombia. Take a glass, put salt around the top, have a lot of limejuice and icecubes in, and add the Corona.

Notice the flower in her hair! She bought it earlier today, in a great accesories store. I was done shopping, and was waiting for the others. Suddenly I see a short guy holding his cellphone under a womans short skirt, and I hear the camera sound! This was about one meter away from me, so there was no doubt! He walked  further into the store, and I reached for him, tapping him on the back and saying "señor"!!! He turned around, and I didn't know quite what to do, so I just blocked the way. He stared me in the eyes for a while, then he pushed me aside and ran out of the store. The rest thought he was shoplifting, but I tried to explain the situation. The offended lady didn't seem to care much, but the rest of us were a bit shocked.

Anyway, back to the party...

I had a tiny dance show, which Rene seemed to appreciate! 

I really tried to get a good picture of the happy couple to the left here, but the red light on my camera gave me away. Robert is my wonderful helper, at least indicating it is a couple.

Manuel Peru and Adaica! Adaica was so sweet and spoke spanish with me for a long time. Thank you so much! It feels great accually being able to have a converstaion in spanish! 

We headed home after some hours and a couple of beers, in very good company! It's always fun to meet with the AIESEC people!
